Yoko Ono: Music of the Mind in London

Yoko Ono: Music of the Mind

The artist, performer and peace and environmental activist, controversial figure and, of course, partner of John Lennon, arrives at the TATE MODERN in London.

An exhibition designed to showcase her great personality, including art, performance, music, video and photography. More than 200 works will trace his career, focusing on emblematic moments: from the radical works born in the London years marked by the meeting with the Beatles' leader, to participatory installations and activism projects such as Wish Tree, without forgetting talked-about performances such as Cut Piece.

LONDON - "Hello? It's Yoko!" Is the voice that greets you in this exhibition, from a very old answering machine of the artist. Then, in the first room, you hear the toilet flush. And, in another after that, there is the short Film No. 4 (Bottoms), censored in 1966 but now showing blissful close-ups of men and women's backsides.

The exhibition on Yoko Ono will be on view from 15 February to 1 September 2024.
